This course is intended to address two distinct, but related, areas of engineering design:
Design for Six Sigma(DFSS) Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Both concepts have been viable approaches to design and detailing for some years and both are extremely valuable and useful tools for the practicing engineer.
DFSS is a statistical method of design that can serve as a predictive tool to greatly improve quality control; if used properly and consistently.
Course Deliverables
