Description:

If you’re not up-to-speed on the changes in the EPA’s new hazardous waste generator rule, now is the time to catch up.

The new requirements require that organizations clearly understand what’s required and when the rule goes into effect for their affected facilities. Some of the new changes in the EPA’s final hazardous waste generator improvements rule will affect how hazardous waste generators manage containers, waste storage areas, buildings, tanks, drip pads, and other related equipment with a focus on storage areas and containers including both satellite accumulation and central accumulation container areas and buildings. The rule also addresses pre-transport requirements for hazardous waste shipments and changes to reporting requirements.

Although some states have already adopted the new requirements, the likelihood is that most states will adopt the new requirements over the next year, so don’t delay in getting up to speed on the EPA’s final rule.

Join us for an all-new webinar on the new unit management, labeling, and marking requirements and how to prepare for their implementation.

You’ll learn:

  • The new requirements for hazardous waste generators as outlined in the EPA’s final Hazardous Waste Generator
  • Improvement Rule, and how they apply to very small quantity generators (VSQG), small quantity generators (SQG), and large quantity generators (LQG)
  • Rule marking and labeling requirements
  • What’s now required for satellite and central accumulation areas and containers
  • Requirements for “other units” such as tanks, drip pads, and containment buildings—and how the best approaches for compliance with respect to inventory logs, monitoring equipment, or other effective means
  • And much more!

About Webcasts / Audio Conferences / Podcasts:

Webcasts, audio conferences, and podcasts are presentations that you attend via the Internet, phone, or mobile device at a specified date and time for "live" versions, or at your convenience for "recorded" and "On-Demand" versions.

The live versions are interactive, meaning that participants can ask questions in real time, plus are a very cost-effective form of training because 1) you receive fast, convenient learning without any out-of-office time; 2) you can invite as many colleagues as you'd like to listen in on a single phone line; 3) you incur no travel expenses; and 4) you and your colleagues are back at work immediately after the session ends!

And though with recorded versions you do lose the ability to ask questions, you gain the ability to hear the presentation numerous times and to share it with others in your office.

Handout materials and the phone number for live presentations are made available to you prior to the event via email from the presenter and from the "MyAccount" link on the menu bar. Copies of the presentations are included with recorded versions.
