Fall Protection: Best Practices For Complying With OSHA's Newly Released Final Rule Following ANSI Z359
|Date / Time:
OSHA’s newly finalized Fall Protection rule draws heavily from the ANSI Z359 fall protection standard, the national voluntary consensus fall protection equipment standard for the general industry.
ANSI Z359 is often used as a benchmark standard in many fall protection programs and addresses a wide range of fall protection areas.
Since the publication of the first consensus standard in 1988, there have been several reviews and expansions on the ANSI Z359. The most recent development took place in 2015 and addressed safety requirements for full body harnesses.
Having an effective fall protection program is critical to ongoing safety success in industries where fall hazards are an apparent concern. According to many safety experts, ANSI Z359 is the best source the best source for understanding fall protection standards in the US.
Join us for an in-depth webinar with safety expert Chip Darius, who will provide a clear understanding of the new OSHA regulations for fall protection and personal protective equipment, as well as ways to ensure that you are compliant with the new regulations.
