ADA Academy

The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that certain employers provide qualified individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to benefit from the full range of employment-related opportunities available to others.

Though this may seem easy on the surface, compliance is more difficult. For instance, the ADA restricts questions that can be asked about an individual's disability, and requires employers to make certain reasonable accommodations. The ADA also requires integration with other applicable laws, which are often confusing, overlapping, and easy to make mistakes with. But don't fret; this course can help!

This course covers everything ADA - from who is covered to providing reasonable accommodations - and gives you the tips, tools, and confidence to handle them sucessfully. And you can even earn the coveted "Certified ADA Administrator" designation.

HOW THE CLASS WORKS

This course contains both self-study and instructor-led sessions. For each session, students are given chapters from the award-winning ADA Training & Certification Program to review.

Students simply complete that week's assigned chapters, then meet once a week via conference call for three consecutive weeks (dates and times posted below) to listen to the Instructor, review assignments, and get their questions asked and answered.
