Description:

Mobile technology offers a tremendous opportunity for employers to adapt safety and health compliance and communication to the mobile workforce. And an effective mobile communication platform is also one of the best ways to keep your employees engaged, so it’s a win-win!

But, mobile technology also presents challenges that require innovative strategies to ensure that safety rules are being properly presented and understood, otherwise it could become a safety issue itself.

Join us when Attorney Dan Flynn will give insight into keeping up with mobile technology and adapting to the changing needs of your employees, all while keeping them safe and engaged while at work.

You’ll learn:

  • How to choose from various methods of safety communication
  • The benefits and downfalls of mobile communication in a safety environment
  • Regulations impacting the implementation of mobile safety communications
  • Recent OSHA updates highlighting the need to pay attention to this issue
  • And much more!
About Your Presenter:

Daniel Flynn, Esq.
Partner
Dinsmore & Shohl LLP

Dan Flynn, a member of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Environmental Practice Group, focuses much of his practice on environmental, health and safety issues. He has represented companies across general industry and construction with matters involving the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), ensuring local and national clients minimize liability from OSHA enforcement actions by counseling clients on proper compliance with all OSHA standards and on proper inspection management techniques. If citations are issued, he helps clients develop and evaluate settlement options during the informal conference period. If an early settlement isn’t in the client’s best interest, he represents them throughout the resulting litigation before the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission or equivalent state tribunal.

This presentation is also available in a recorded format, in On-Demand version, as shown in the pricing options below.

About Webcasts / Audio Conferences / Podcasts:

Webcasts, audio conferences, and podcasts are presentations that you attend via the Internet, phone, or mobile device at a specified date and time for "live" versions, or at your convenience for "recorded" and "On-Demand" versions.

The live versions are interactive, meaning that participants can ask questions in real time, plus are a very cost-effective form of training because 1) you receive fast, convenient learning without any out-of-office time; 2) you can invite as many colleagues as you'd like to listen in on a single phone line; 3) you incur no travel expenses; and 4) you and your colleagues are back at work immediately after the session ends!

And though with recorded versions you do lose the ability to ask questions, you gain the ability to hear the presentation numerous times and to share it with others in your office.

Handout materials and the phone number for live presentations are made available to you prior to the event via email from the presenter and from the "MyAccount" link on the menu bar. Copies of the presentations are included with recorded versions.
